Nice photo Jon although the guy at the front is blocking Blondie. Had they really never met before last month?

The "guy at the front" is none other than Howie himself.
But am I the only one who has noticed that there's something
inherently wrong when Brian is the sanest looking one in the photo...?

Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder if Blondie even knew about David and his BBs-involvement before their meeting though......

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Forgive my ignorance but who is Howie? A google search proved unhelpful.

Yeah Blondie and Dave are very aware of each other, they'd been in contact prior to this. But this was the first time they were in the same room.

Howie is a NY rock writer, a good friend and collaborator, and a regular poster here.

Looks like a fun time. It's always great when people who have meant a lot to you turn out to be nice personally.

Jon was staying with me all week while collaborating on a book project. For his final night we had a bit of a send off for him.

Not one, not two, but THREE living ex-Beach Boys that aren't Mike, Al, or Bruce in the same photo!!! (Even if it's just a picture of Brian, he still counts!!!)
