Earlier this year, looking at the beachboysfanclub.com website, I noticed that Brian Wilson was coming to my hometown of Rochester NY during his Fall tour. Huzzah! I was thrilled. I could finally get to see BW again and I wouldn't even have to travel to NYC or Toronto.

But now, finally looking for information, my joy has gone away. brianwilson.com has no info on this concert (no surprise there), the Auditorium Theater website has nothing listed for that day, and, most damningly, ticketmaster.com is selling tickets for another Brian Wilson concert on that day, in Atlantic City.

I was looking forward to this quite a bit, and now I feel kind of pissed off.  Angry

That stinks.

I used to live in Rochester. Just behind a bowling ally next to a big white church just north of downtown. Not that anybody cares Tongue

I'm live in Rochester too, and I was incredibly disappointed when that tour date disappeared from the site.  I saw him once before in NYC for the Smile tour, but I was looking forward to seeing him again, minus the long drive.

One can only hope that he'll make a stop here during some future tour.

He's playing Albany in November...don't know if that helps or not... Though it would be nicer for me if he played Burlington, VT...

Yeah I noticed that...Albany isn't ridiculously far, so that may be a viable option.  Nothing like having him in your own backyard though.

That's why I'd rather see him in Burlington...
