i was thumbing thru a billboard dated october 4th, 1980 (it had been water soaked and singed but readable) and on page 34 i stumbled upon a full page ad placed by jerry schilling management and dennis arfa of hra entertainment (listed as the agent) on "sold out" shows by the beach boys that year. here are the differences in the ad and what is on your site.
01) ad lists a sold out show on april 22 at the saginaw civic center in saginaw, michigan. not on your site.
02) your site lists 2 shows on april 19th. ad has on april 19th a sold out show at kenen stadium in chapel hill, n.c.
the other april 19th show you have listed in annapolis, md is listed in the ad as being sold out on april 26th at the admiral halsey auditorium in annapolis, md.
03) your site lists june 6th and 7th for wimbley arena. ad lists 2 sold out shows at wimbley on june 9th and 10th.
04) ad lists a sold out show on august 7th at the ionia state fair in ionia, michigan. not on your site. so maybe they played 2 shows that day?

as for venues listed in the ad but not on your site....
01) feb 22 was at the coliseum in fort wayne, in
02) july 25th was at the rushmore plaza civic center in rapid city, s.d.
03) july 26th was at the arena in bismark, n.d.
04) july 29th was at the omaha arena in omaha, neb.

make of this whatever you will.....just passing along what i saw in that issue of billboard.

Thanks Steve-This actually solves a number of problems that I had with that April 1980 tour. I have a review of the Annapolis show, but it didn't have the exact date..so I dated it to April 19. Billboard is correct on that. Billboard is wrong, however, on the date of the Wembley shows.

Yup, I was at Wembley. Billboard, or rather, the ad, is wrong.  Smiley

And again, Steve - you're a star.

figured those wembley dates may be fishy....if they were correct the last part of that tour would be shuffled around a lot. had a feeling you would know if they were correct...hence the "make of this whatever you will".... Grin
