Are they ever going to kick Why Do Fools Fall in Love from the setlist again?

Never mind, it's pretty cool apart from that and of course Friends being included in the prelude is quite a nice surprise.

Yeah, the "Friends" part used in the prelude is the upward chromatic progession heard between verses..."dah-dah-dah....dah-dah-dah...dah-dah-dah...DAH-DAH-DAH-DAH".

On paper, if a long time fan were to look at the set list, seeing "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" as a song in a/the concert you're about to see might make you run for the hills.  With the treatment given to it by the band it's a real treat!  Much better than you'd imagine (for those of you who haven't seen the band in the past few years).

Yeah, Frankie Lyman & the Teenagers had the hit in 1956 so it's a cover.  The cover version from 1964 is so-so in my opinion.  The version done in concert in 2009 is Great!

I'm looking forward to the upcoming, updated stereo version next month.

For those interested, the May 13th show in St. Louis will be another symphony performance.
