He [Bruce] was allowed access to the entire Brother Vaults, especially when he was activly producing them.

But... not everything was in the Brother archives in 1978-85. Still isn't.

This is pretty much off-topic, but is the I'm a Man outtake the Muddy Waters blues song? I've seen I'm a Man mentioned here, and I've always wondered that. I can't really picture The Beach Boys doing blues.

No - one is the Spencer Davis Group song: the other is, allegedly, a BW original.

Bruce told Roger Scott during the Capitol Radio interview for KTSA that "the Smile tapes are around. They really are around. We just have to decide what to do with them, issue them for UNICEF or Cambodian Relief....."
I wonder if that quote included tapes that are now thought to be lost? Just imagine if the Look vocal sessions had existed as "recently" as 1980. It almost makes you want to cry....

Please excuse me if this has been thoroughly covered, which it probably has, but have the "Look"
vocal sessions ever been confirmed to exist in real time at any juncture, other than session notes?

I agree that they are one of the most tangible and intoxicating "lost" portions of the album that
would have been Smile. Huh Cry
