Ah, yes, the rained out-1991 BB non-show at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium... I was there -- and so were the BBs. They even did a pre-show meet and greet. The Braves game ended, it started sprinkling a bit and then raining. They brought the stage out, covered in tarps. Then the bottom fell out! If you were in the right place (I was), you could see the BBs standing under shelter at the gate to the field, watching their show get rained out. Eventually they had to call the show and bring the stage back in. Once it started pouring, it rained for hours.

Now Atlanta's in a multi-year drought, but in 1991 springtime was monsoon season.

I think Al missed a few shows and was actually fired for a time in 1992 any info on that?

Well, I can tell you that Al WAS at the August 8th 1992 show at Blossom Music Center. I remember he and Mike introduced Matt Jardine. That Blossom show just might have been the very first concert I ever went to. I was only seven, and I don't really remember any of it. I'd love to find a set list for that show.

What was Brian's Regis and Kathy Lee appearance like?

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

If I may take this down to the slightly-above-atom level I'd like to point out a thing about the July 2 show in Gothenburg: it's Nya Ullevi, not Nya Ullevi Stadium. Although, indeed, it's a stadium.

<<< Edit: My bad. It is correct the way it says on Bellagio. Ullevi Stadium.

The Regis and Kathie Lee app was to promote "his" book- he did a whole promotional tour-I have all the book signing dates as well-went to various cities-including Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, NY and San Diego

I noticed something in the 1986 and 1987 dates. Both list April 18 - Universal Amphitheater, Los Angeles CA*
I find it odd they played the same place on the same date in both years with Brian. Was this true or a typo for one of the years.

In 1978 I noticed
2 - Omni, Atlanta GA [w/Jan & Dean and Le Roux]
  3 - Civic Center, Lakeland FL [w/Jan & Dean]
  4 - Civic Center, Savannah GA [w/Jan & Dean]
  4 - Coliseum, Jacksonville FL [w/Jan & Dean]

Wouldn't they have played the two Georgia dates consecutively instead of flying back and forth?
Also Brian and Sandler's 1972 session at Ike Turner's studio hasn't been changed to the correct Bolic Sound

Al was absent from most of the early 1992 shows, but he was back by the summer.

In regards to the Apr 18 show in 1986 and 87 I will check to make sure-but I think it is true. As far as 1978 those shows are all confirmed-I have reviews for all of them-BBs had their reasons-possibly geographical proximity-rather than what state they were in-but yes it was Georgia than Florida than back to Georgia. Also-don't forget that shows are not always booked at the same time-so promoters just fill in empty dates-by this time the band pretty much flew everywhere anyways-so it didn't make much difference
