To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Yeah thanks, that was an official release on a boxset (as I was told) or something. But what about "Darlin" ?

This is the eeriest thing ever. I was JUST coming on here to ask who was singing that, because I couldn't recognize the voices. It's just so random, I can't believe someone made a post about it just as I was about to.

So thanks for posting it! It's like you read my mind or something.

I don't think any Redwood version of "Darlin' " is known to have survived- last I heard, anyway.  Would love to be wrong.

Wonīt be any help that Danny Hutton sang "Darlin" at the "Waikiki Show", is it? But you are aware of this fact...

Canīt find it on the tracklist either (that just means that you are not ... know what I mean  Cool Guy) ... but.. was it called "Darlin" back in 1967? Could imagine that Mike Love wrote a new lyric for the Beach Boys Version, hasnīt he?

But you could use the Waikiki-Version for this Smiley
