James Jamerson on POB

I should post this to the original topic, but I can't remember what it was and I don't have time to find it.

C-Man and others had asked me to ask Earle Mankey if he remembered whether it was James Jamerson Jr. or Sr. that played on PACIFIC OCEAN BLUE and I promised to do so at my next opportunity, which was yesterday.

Earle replied initially that it "must have been" James Sr., and said that the age was about right and that Dennis had commented (ironically as it turned out) that Jamerson spent much of his time drinking.

So that's that, I guess.
