The first song I wrote this year, "Don't You Know." I thought of the refrain in the shower and just felt like carrying on in a semi-dopey, teenage love, 50s sort of way. This is just a scratch recording so I don't lose track of it (the way I usually do when I write down and file away songs), just an acoustic guitar, lead voice and harmony/double voice. Yes, I know what you mean about 50s, it sort of has a Buddy Holly 'Everyday' vibe or an Everly brothers thing, or even for that matter an early beatles sound. Nice anyway!
