I just put up my copy of the 1988 Rhino reissue of the SPRING CD on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/SPRING-CD-Brian-Wilson-prod-1988-Rhino-reissue-RARE_W0QQitemZ330231429981QQihZ014QQcategoryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The funny thing about it is I can't find a match for either the barcode or the album artwork on the web....just the "American Spring" import with the same track listing.  I knew the CD was rare, but not THAT rare.  Anyone know anything about it?

That starting bid suggests that it is "THAT" rare in someone's mind anyway.

I ended up having to pay about $60 for my copy a few years back, on eBay. I don't think I've *ever* seen it in a store ... Mine looks like the one seen at http://rateyourmusic.com/release/comp/american_spring/spring/ BTW:

Yeah!  That's it!  Thanks for finding it for me.

Anyway, if anyone wants it, it's up on EBay.

That's the copy I have as well, bought about 1989 at Tower/Hollywood in Los Angeles.

As I mentioned in another post, I'm selling (or in some cases giving away) most of my CD collection.  My roommate is remodeling the house and I'm having to divest most of my possessions or put them in storage.  There are a lot of obscure power pop bands that you've never heard and some Beach Boys-related stuff in there.  I've sold about 2/3 of them, but there are a bunch left, many priced at $1 each, and there's a few freebies, too.

If anyone wants to have a look, the list is at http://members.aol.com/cgspace/cdlist.htm

I'm also open to an offer if someone wants to buy me out.

thanks all
