Hey everyone, Adam Marsland here.

For the next week, we're selling LONG PROMISED ROAD: SONGS OF DENNIS AND CARL WILSON LIVE (featuring the unreleased DW gem "Wouldn't It Be Nice to Live Again") along with the recent Amazon Top 40 entry DAYLIGHT KISSING NIGHT: ADAM MARSLAND'S GREATEST HITS for $20 including shipping.  (For Canada, the price is $23...worldwide, $27)

This is less than the absolute lowest price you can find for these two CDs on amazon, half.com, or anywhere else.  That's 2 CDs, 40 songs, $20, and the postage is on us.

Why are we doing this?
(1) We're excited about the upcoming PACIFIC OCEAN BLUE release.
(2) We're down to the last box of DAYLIGHT KISSING NIGHT CDs, and a new shipment arrives Monday.  We'd like to kill the last box.
(3) The garage where we store our CDs is undergoing remodeling, and we need to make room; and
(4) We want people to hear the music.

To get the twofer CD deal, look for the link in blue on the right side our myspace pages (where you can hear songs from the albums, plus video of the band performing Beach Boys rarities, including "California Saga" with Al Jardine), or on our homepage:

www.adammarsland.com

For those of you who already have the LONG PROMISED ROAD CD but haven't checked out the original music, amazon.com currently has copies of DAYLIGHT KISSING NIGHT for less than $4.  Go get it here:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014FIYRG/

Oh, and my copy of the SPRING CD didn't sell.  If someone wants to make me an offer...

Such a deal!!

To anyone reading who has not yet purchased these albums:  Please buy these albums.

I've spent many hours in Adam's garage, and I can attest to the fact that these CDs are taking up a lot of valuable space that could be more efficiently used for other things, like musicians.  And instruments.  And garden tools.

Also:  These CDs are quite good.  I'm not just saying that because I happen to be on them.

Plus:  Where else are you going to hear Evie Sands sing "Trader"?  Or Adam singing "Moonshine"?   Or ANYONE singing "Wouldn't It Be Nice To Live Again" and "Carry Me Home"Huh

Finally:  If you already bought and enjoyed LONG PROMISED ROAD, you really, really should get DAYLIGHT KISSING NIGHT, because it's really, really good.  There's a wide range of styles showcasing all of Adam's best stuff, everything from bad-ass yet melodic power pop with cynical but humorous punk attitude... to reflective ballads with gorgeous vocals (there's one song on there called "Portland," which would have been a highlight on the LA Light Album if only a Wilson had written it 30 years ago).

Thank you.

I'm broke, don't have a dollar to my name, but if I had 4 dollars, I'd buy food.  If I had 5, I'd buy food and DKN.

And I'll add my recommendation for Long Promised Road.  It's a loving tribute to a couple of great people...performed by a bunch of great people.

Thanks guys...I also feel like such a 'ho posting about my own stuff.  I need a manager!  Would someone be willing to repost this on the BW board?  I tried but I couldn't log in for some reason.

Btw, if anyone's in L.A. over the next few weekends, the Chaos Band is throwing down its famous "50 songs in one night" show in two different locations...Buccaneer in Sierra Madre on May 10 and Brennan's in Marina Del Rey on May 16.  If you've never seen us do this, we do a bunch of our stuff, a lot of Beach Boys, and the most eclectic bunch of covers you've ever heard.  Last gig we did "Porpoise Song" by the Monkees, "El Paso" by Marty Robbins, "Pretty Vacant" by the Sex Pistols, "Twist Barbie" by Shonen Knife and "Have You Seen Her" by the Chi-Lites, to name a few.  Some shows we even up the set list to 60 songs.  The shows are free and hell of a lot of fun.  Evie gets spotlighted a lot more at these shows, too.

Thank YOU, Alan...and I should have stressed that you're featured on both discs, most prominently on LONG PROMISED ROAD (as in, co-credited with the band!)

Today's the last day for twofer deal...instructions on how to order above.

Btw, I'm not entirely comfortable about posting about this stuff on the smiley smile board, but I know there are people on here that have asked to be notified if I or the band tours, etc.  If you want to be on my mailing list, please e-mail me at adamghost@aol.com and I'll put you on.  That way you won't miss out if I don't happen to post about something here.

thanks all...
