I don't usually post these on this board-but why not...Feb 16 and 17 1962 the BBs played two early shows at the Rainbow Gardens.  Though the exact details are sketchy, it is believed that these shows took place after Al had left the band.  David Marks seems to have joined in late Feb or early March, so most likely they were played by a 4 piece Beach Boys (Just the “Family”). The group played two shows at the Cinnamon Cinder, owned by Bob Eubanks, the following weekend.  Feb 17 1963 the BBs played on an all star KFWB charity bill at the LA Sports Arena.  Feb 17-20 1964 Brian held a number of sessions- producing songs for The Honeys, Larry Denton and the BBs.  The group then embarked on a brief Pacific Northwest trip- playing two shows in Washington on Feb 21 and 22 1964.  Feb 17 1965 the BBs played in Cranston, Rhode Island-with Brian back on the road briefly.  The show was almost stopped because the police got angry at Mike for jumping off the stage-inciting the audience.  For those of you who have Keith Badman’s book, there is a review of this show which he placed by accident under Feb 17 1968.  One of the BBs got punched by a fan as they exited the venue.  The next day the BBs fulfilled a promise by returning to Worcester, MA. In their previous app there in Oct 1964 the fans got out of hand and the show was stopped early, so the BBs came back to play a full show.  A reporter captured the mood backstage-with Mike chatting up a female fan, while Brian concentrated on playing piano.  Brian remained on the road for shows in Montreal and Ottawa.  The Ottawa fans were crazy-some snuck into the BBs rooms and hid in the showers. Glen Campbell-having completed his Shindig commitments- replaced Brian for the Toronto gig on Feb 21 1965. Photos of him with the group were taken backstage in front of a bus.  The tour appears to have ended the next day with a show in Buffalo, NY.  Feb 17 and 18 1966 Brian made his first attempts at recording Good Vibrations. Sessions for the song would continue for many months off and on.  The group may not have been around. They were in Tulsa on Feb 20 for a concert with the T-Bones.  They were back in LA by Feb 22 1966, however, when they were filmed at Brian’s for a Top of the Pops feature.  Feb 17-19 1967 the BBs played in Peoria, Columbus, Dayton, and Detroit with Keith, the Electric Prunes and the Left Banke.  Brian was preoccupied with Heroes and Villains (a session was held on Feb 21) but also found time to record another session with Jasper Daly-probably for Crack the Whip-on Feb 17.  Feb 16 1969 the BBs appeared on the Kraft Music Hall TV Show miming to California Girls (the clip which appears in Endless Harmony) and I Can Hear Music.  The filming of this may have taken place weeks earlier-as Carl mentioned the app in an interview while in Texas on Feb 10.  Feb 21 1969 Bruce worked on Deirdre.  Feb 20 1971 the BBs continued their Jack Reilley plotted “Comeback” with a big show in Santa Monica with Flash Cadillac and The Flame.  According to multiple reviewers, Brian was in the audience, but Mike failed to convince him to get onstage.  During Vegetables, the group pulled out some real vegetables and threw them into the audience.  Mike stated before launching into Okie from Muskogee that other possible titles were “Just a hot-rodder from Hawthorne” or “Just a surfer from the South Bay.” Bruce performed Tears in the Morning and Elton John’s Your Song.  Dennis also performed two solo tunes-probably Forever and Barbara.  Feb 23 1971 the BBs appeared on WPLJ radio in NYC to promote their concert at Carnegie Hall the next night.  The app was legendary because the BBs played a number of unreleased songs on the air that they were then considering for what became Surfs Up-including San Miguel and I Just Got My Pay.  Feb 17 1972 the BBs worked on Marcella, Body Talk and Out in the Country. Brian, Carl, Bruce, Rickie and Tandyn Almer are on the AFM sheet.  Marcella must have been completed at this session, since the BBs apparently mimed to it a week later on a Dutch TV show.  Feb 16 1974 the BBs played at the University of Montana, then headed to Colorado for shows in Colorado Springs and Fort Collins.  Feb 19 1977 Brian appeared on the Grammy Awards with Dennis and Carl-a very brief snippet of this can be seen in American Band during the Dennis Forever tribute.  Carl had briefly shaved off his beard for I believe the last time ever and was just growing it back.  Feb 16 and 17 1978 the BBs played a few nights at the Aladdin Hotel in Vegas.  Feb 22 1980 the BBs played in Fort Wayne, than hit Detroit on Feb 23. Brian was with them, but Dennis had not been allowed back in the band yet.  The following Feb of 1981 Dennis was back and the group played in Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and New Mexico.  Carl was already planning a solo tour, but went along for one last ride.   Feb 19 1982 the BBs, minus Carl, played at Brigham Young U in Idaho.   Feb 17-22 Feb 1983- the BBs played in Calgary, Canada (17) Victoria, BC (18) Portland, OR (19) Eugene, OR (20) and Anchorage, Alaska (22).  Feb 18-23 1987 the BBs played at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Brian was at these shows looking quite slim and energetic.  Feb 19-21 1988 the BBs played at Lake Tahoe- not sure if Brian appeared.  Feb 20 1992- Brian received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 1992 Pro Set L.A. Music Awards. He performed Brian and California Girls. His band featured Don Was and Gregg Allman.   Feb 22 1992-Brian appeared on the Howard Stern TV and radio show in NY.  Feb 23 1996 the BBs played a Blue Cross benefit show in Salt Lake City.
