1) Why was he singing lead on Help Me Rhonda in 1974 during concerts?  I know he wasn't drumming, so he most likely was singing more, but why sing lead on an Al song?

2) Why do I think an "unknown piano intermezzo" recorded February 1966 was written / performed by Dennis?

Carl sang it too for a while. Perhaps Dennis sang it in 1973 and 1974 because he wanted to do a rock song. Perhaps Do You Wanna Dance was not to his liking at that pioint. It is odd. Someone should ask Jardine.

Well Carl took over the lead vocal on "Rhonda" when they introduced the new, slowed-groove boogie-fied version in drop-D tuning (early '71).  By 1973, the tempo had picked up and Carl probably handed it over to Dennis so Denny would have a rocker to sing in the show.  Sometimes they would sing it together.  But Al sometimes sang it in '73 as well (as on the "In Concert" LP).

Who is singing along with Dennis in 'Wild Situation' and 'He's A Bum'?

Session singers I don't think any Beach Boys. Probably the same people on POB because these were recorded soon after.

There's a prominent male vocal singing along with him, for a while I thought it was Carl just messing around in the studio with Dennis (you can especially hear him in one of the Wild Situation takes)...Perhaps its Daryl? Or Kalinch? (sp?)

Carl can be heard talking on Wild but I can't pick his voice out. He's a Bum had a few reporters singing including Leaf in his moment of glory.
