Perhaps the Smile album would've sent the hippies into histarics. Thus leading to laughter riots in the late 60s. Laughter would've spread throughout the world, thusly ending the Vietnam war. The album also ending drug abuse since the feeling of elation from Smile is so much better then getting stoned. Then all doctors lose there jobs, since the free medicine of laughter has healed everyone.
Therefore Brian decided not to release it
