After a bad week with the job and kids and etc......I went out to the garage with a selection of BB music.  Backed the old Chevy out into the driveway and put on some music.  Love You, disc 4 from the box, Paley Sessions, and Lucky Old Sun.   Magic.   As I worked alone, polishing the car, taking note of long ignored facets, enjoying a particularly nice day, and a forbidden Central American cigar...and a few beers, I began to relax and appreciate this music.  Again.

We have been treated to a 25 year run of the beach boys.........and nearly a 25 year grand finally.   The released and unreleased Paley material, the flood of boots, the twofers, the Scott Toten led bruce/mikeBBBand, Lucky Old Sun, SMiLE, Wondermints, The box sets, Hawthorne, Endless Harmony, PS live, and a regular set of live performances.   Like a fireworks show that continues to wow!........after you think the fireworks are over...........

just wanted to share my fascination and awe with some folks who might understand. Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Shocked

I, for one, certainly understand!  Cool

Out of curiosity, what model is your "old Chevy"?

Nice to know that there are still some '64 Impalas that have not become lowriders! And rally wheels are always a nice addition to any sixties Chevy  Cheesy

I've been thinking of starting a car thread in the Sandbox, but I'm not sure many members would be interested...

Maybe Jon Stebbins would join in such a discussion.  I seem to recall him expressing an interest in classic chevys etc.
