Thru the miracle of Google, I stumbled onto the above named Wilson-themed web site.
Did a search here and didn't find a reference to it.

The imagery and some other things are amusing.

http://www.geocities.com/churchofsmile/index.html

It's probably old news around here, but like I said, I didn't find it in a search.

Hilarious!  Reminds me of a similar website called the 'First Presleytarian Church of Elvis the Devine' which is at

http://www.geocities.com/presleyterian_church/

I wonder if they're by the same people...?

I really miss the Al Jardine teen talk site. It was hilarious. If anyone remembers, it was pretty much a few old pictures old Al giving teenagers messages but pretty much just telling really, really dirty and crude jokes regarding the Beach Boys. Obviously it was seen as a joke, but some of the stuff was incredibly funny. I miss it.

There is a genuine, serious church based on the music of John Coltrane based in SF, CA, USA.

His late stuff is longer, more transcendent and frankly god-bothering than SMiLE.

Very funny site. Anything having a pop at religion is of course always welcome.. Made me laugh a lot! Maybe it's better SMiLE never was released/finished such is the amazing aura that hangs around it to this day... (Is that how you spell 'aura'?)

Ah, no prob. Was rather worried you'd taken offence at the religion comment... nothing worse than a touchy god-botherer.
