What do you think about his new album? I haven't heard it completely yet but I think I'll get it in the next weeks. Seems like the title is well-chosen. Watch him do two songs at Letterman here:

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I think it is a very solid album.  Not great, but certainly not bad either.  It is much better than his last effort, "Deja Vu (All Over Again)", but nowhere near as good as "Blue Moon Swamp" from before that.

I just bought "Deja vu" today (with Tony Joe White's "Heroines") and I like it, but it's kinda a relaxed album. I guess I like Blue Moon Swamp better myself, but I look forward to listen to Revival. I already know some tracks and they are really good. Thanks for your comment

I've seen John in concert twice.  The first was the "Promonition" tour, the second was "The Long Road Home" tour.  Both were excellent.

I like the new CD "Revival" a lot.  Some people don't like the "preachy" anti-Bush songs, but I think it's important for artists to speak out about the insanity of war.

Wether people like it or not, that's what Fogerty did his whole carreer, so I think nobody should be surprised or offended.

I went straight out and bought Deja Vu when it was released.  I listened to it 5 or 6 times.  Just didn't do it for me.

Rhubarb Pie was the only thing that caught my imagination.  Might put it on a compilation.

I'll have to hear this new album 1st after my experience with the last one.

just got in from seeing fogerty in concert at indianapolis, ind last night. sold out show and he played over 2 hours. and he rocked hard, a lot harder than when i saw in in '87 and '98. the new songs sounded great live also. one nice thing about his web page is they post the setlist from each show.

if you have a chance to see him live on this revival tour be sure to go. one good one this show is......
