I just wanted to pass this on to anyone on the board that might be interested:  My band (Adam Marsland's Chaos Band) is going to be performing "60 Songs in One Night" at Brennan's Pub in Marina Del Rey on Saturday, Sept. 29th from 8:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.

As part of the show, we're going to be doing a mini-set of songs from our album LONG PROMISED ROAD: SONGS OF DENNIS AND CARL WILSON LIVE with Alan Boyd as guest vocalist.  This is the first time we've done this material onstage since January.

In addition to the Dennis and Carl material, we'll be doing the most eclectic and cool bunch of covers ever done at the same gig...from Belle & Sebastian to the Sex Pistols to Lucinda Williams to the O'Jays to Zappa.  Plus lots of our original stuff (and some by Evie Sands, soul legend and our lead guitar player).  Admission is free.  If you're in town, we invite you to come by.  Brennan's is at 4089 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey.

I would love to come but I'm in Upstate New York. Good luck with the show, though.

I had a huge crush on Evie back in the day (Angel of the Morning). If I was not in NJ, I'd be there for sure.

Where in upstate NY?  I grew up in Binghamton.

The band is planning to tour again in '08...I have a compilation album coming out in February.  We should make it back east then.

By the bye, we'll also be doing a couple of other Beach Boys songs in the set besides the C & D stuff.

Great idea for a set list. Wish I could make it. Hopefully your band will be coming to Salt Lake City soon. (no pun intended Tongue)

That set list would make a great compilation on a couple CDs.  LOL

Glad the show went well.
