'Make It Good' is fantastic! I know what u mean, had to leave off so many tracks that i blessed adore! In fact, going back over my list - where the hell is It's Not Too Late? Or Friday Night? Or Rainbows? Can we make it Top 50 Dennis tracks instead...? Or Top Ten Mike maybe? I'll get things rolling...

Even though it has Dennis written all over it, It's Not Too Late were written solely bij Carly Munoz, just like "(Under The) Moonlight" or "All Alone" for example, which I otherwise would've put in my top10 immediately.

As for ML-tracks...I'll make it a top 2: (1) Let The Wind Blow, (2) Big Sur...

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

I'm sure no one would have trouble filling in a top ten Worst Mike Love solo records list!

Thinking about it now though it's quite hard to work out, and would actually require me to put in some concerted listening.... Tongue

Oh yeh, i forgot Dennis didn't actually write 'It's Not Too Late', and it's really Carl who owns that track isn't it? Bad example on my part.. Still i've just thought of another one-'Holy Evening', what the bollocking christ was i doing leaving that off?

I'd prefer a top 20 next time...there are not many Dennis-songs I don't like...

at the moment this should be my top 10:

1. River Song
2. Celebrate The News
3. It’s About Time
4. Thoughts Of You
5. Farewell My Friend
6. Carry Me Home
7. Rainbows
8. Steamboat
9. I’ve Got A Friend
10. Cuddle Up

That would be the same as mine. Exactly.

1.  Sound of Free
2.  Forever
3.  Slip on Through
4.  San Miguel
5.  Barbara
6.  Got to know the woman
7.  It's about time
8.  River Song
9.  Baby Blue
10. Carry Me Home

It's a crying shame his solo stuff wasn't better publicized, I LOVE Sound of Free, and it could have done better in the US

It is a pretty great track, though for my money 'Baby Blue' might just be the best tune he ever wrote! Got me together with my (blue-eyed) finance that one did. She thought the BBs were a joke when i first met her, so i played her the track and, well...

We've split up now. She was a right bitch. But that's not the point....

3. A time to live in dreams
4. Sound of free
5. Slip on through
6. Make it good
7. Steamboat
8. Only with you
9. Moonshine
10. River song

Honourable mentions

Morning christmas
He's a bum

This is your best post ever. Congrats on that success.

I know, like I said, it's a crying shame.  I could have sworn I must have heard Sound of Free here in the US at some time.  Was it released at all here in the US?

Nope - never released in the USA. Europe, Australia... but not the States.

Australia? Seriously? I knew about the UK, Ireland, France, and The Netherlands, but this is new to me...I'm curious if there's a complete list of countries in which this 45 was released.
