Yea that struck me as odd when I read it too. Maybe it wasn't really like it sounded, but it definitely says that he did. There are so many inaccurate things in there though that I wouldn't really take that as a fact. I don't doubt that maybe Brian and Marilyn tried a threesome but I don't really see Brian sleeping with a guy to prepare for it. You're right, there's lots of weird stuff in that book for sure.

It's lifted from the Gaines book. Is it true ? Could well be.

I don't know what difference it makes. I don't know Brian personally, and I have no idea what his exact sexuality is, other than a public history of marrying women and having kids. Don't really care, either. That particular story is unique to "Wouldn't It Be Nice," however. The Gaines book describes a threesome, as related by Marilyn Wilson. Brian's supposed decision to sample the goods all by himself first is only in the "autobiography." I'm not exactly sure what the source is, since that book is rather apocryphal.

exposing and exploiting one's own homoerotic tendencies is a definite attitudinal step change towards
ultimate mind-control & submissive dominance...just research Adolf Hitler and the pink swastika
Landy did have ulterior motives

Landy did have ulterior motives Going off-topic a little - I think - but Eugene Landy made the year in review issue of Rolling Stone magazine. His obituary appears next to all of these rock and roll giants who passed away in 2006. He finally made it, God rest his soul...

I have just said on another post how poor the book is. I am sorry it ever came out. It is bull and so many ill informed people have used it in their writing. I think if Brian had an experiment it is no big deal but.... I seriously mistrust this book. I used to think at least it had interesting info on the "therepy" but who knows what really went down. Brian seemed worse in 76 then before (listen to a few 74 interviews and he is a bit odd but nothing like in 76), and even worse after 1982. I think Landy hurt Brian more then Brian himself.

Each to their own of course, but if I was Tandyn Almer I would be reticent about climbing into bed with a giant 6ft2 20 stone unwashed man!

Brian was only 200-220 pounds then. Still bathed then too as the picture in the gatefold of 15 Big Ones proves. If we were talking 1975 though.....
