I know I am dramatically out of season, but I need something fun to think about.
I just listened to the "Reason for the Season" album by Mike Love, which I think is actually quite decent. In particular, I like the title song, which is nothing else than our good old "Short'nin Bread" with different lyrics.
And that made me think of a new "what if". It's obvious that both Brian and Mike both love rock'n'roll... what if they had set away their differences for some weeks and done Brian's fabled rock'n'roll album TOGETHER? Possibly with Al & C ?
I guess Mike would have wanted to title it "Do It Again with Love", or at least "Do It Again... Again".
