I think Brian is in a somewhat awkward place where he doesn't look like he particularly wants to be at gigs, but really can't do anything else with his time (at least that makes money). But then I think we all feel like that day to day :D

At some point when there is a retrospective review of Brian's career taken, questions will get asked about what I would assume to be the latter period that we are in now.

Only in certain cases. For instance, Mike Love should have retired 20 years ago for embarrassing the legacy of the band.

I'm glad he didn't retire. I enjoyed 2 great Beach Boys shows in 2019 and 2021. I don't see going on stage with a great band playing the songs the way they are supposed to be played as embarrassing at all.
