Thanks for posting. Other than “Under My Thumb” (sorry, can’t get into that song) my favorite Stones songs are during the Brian Jones era.
Hello Lizzie. I hope you're staying safe in these hair-raising times.
I must confess this is my only port of call at Smlley these days. I have this topic bookmarked and that's it.
While I'm here... This is the first time the world heard Mr Jones (on harmonica and background vocals): "Come On" just missed the UK top twenty in 1963. I didn't like it at the time, preferring the more laid-back Chuck Berry original with its unusual swirling piano textures. I can look back on it more kindly now. It even has a punk feel to it -- in 1963!

Not every musician has a band named after them (well, half after them in this case). The Brian Jonestown Massacre have recorded tons of albums but this is the only one I've ever heard -- and I'd rather like to leave it that way. I used to listen to this one on YouTube while mopping out the wet cells when we were between cleaning ladies:

And of course I can't leave this topic (at least for now) without linking this fabulous tribute song to Brian by Psychic TV, preceded by a brief interview with band co-founder Genesis P-Orridge, another fascinating figure who I'm now shocked to see died last March, aged 70. May they both rest in peace.

Did some repairs today. Surprisingly, there were only two missing videos after a three-year gap!
Julia:
Hes my favorite Stone, absolutely. They really lost something without him.
I don't have much else to say on the matter.
