Al just announced a Fam&Friends show in Vegas for 2020.... Sounds like that is what he was hinting at earlier this year.

1) I'm super excited for this! I wish I could attend the Vegas show. Maybe if it goes over well, they could tour again! (hopefully with no lawsuits this time)... Looks like they're wise enough to go out as "Al Jardine Family & Friends Beach Party" ... Anyway, I'm sure they will sound incredible, hopefully as close Al's original lineup as possible !!!

2) As excited I am about the Family&Friends reunion, I'm a little bummed that it turned out not to be a BBs one... Not that I was truly 100% expecting what Al was hinting at was a C60 reunion, but the fanboy in me had my hopes up. Seeing the original guys on stage one last would be a miracle.

You sure it’s 2020? His website says July 19 and 20 with a link for tickets on sale in a few days, so I assume it’s this year.

While Alan is indeed booked for July of this year, Mike and Bruce already have visible bookings into March 2020 on their website...not that these couldn't be cleared if need be, but worth noting.

Hope so; I was disappointed when I saw this too.  Still a good show but as someone who wasn't up-to-date and diving into the catalogue in 2012 as he has over the past year or so, I'm really hoping for a "C60"-type tour/album.

while C60 may not be likely, it seems nothing is ever impossible in the world of the BBs...   And, hey, a guy can dream!

And even if 2020 is a year of Brian/Al/Blondie shows, Mike/Bruce shows, and Al shows (storytelling or full band) I'll be a happy camper.


I'm totally excited to see Al's Fam&Friends group back together, hopefully it becomes a semi-regular or regular thing!
