Magical Mystery Tour is an album by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as a double EP in the United Kingdom and an LP in the United States. Produced by George Martin, it includes the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name. The EP was issued in the UK on 8 December 1967 on the Parlophone label, while the Capitol Records LP release in the US occurred on 27 November and featured eleven tracks through the addition of songs from the band's 1967 singles. The EP was also released in Germany, France, Spain, Yugoslavia, Brazil, Australia and Japan.[4] The first official release as an eleven-track LP in the UK did not occur until 1976.

Maybe I'm a little burnt out on it, but in truth, I like Fool on the Hill and I Am the Walrus more, as well as (what should be) the obvious winner of Beatles Survivor 10 - Magical Mystery Tour.

I wanted the Fool to leave last round, so obviously that one isn't my choice.

I love Penny Lane. I love the bass line. I love the vocals. I love the trumpet. I wouldn't mind this one winning, but I can't vote for it.

My vote goes for the place where NOTHING IS REAL. STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER. Although John always thought that Paul sabotaged this song with the production, I think it's perfect.

"Penny Lane" is great Beatles song. Nice to see you'll be OK it wins, pixletwin.

Thing with SFF is it's really mundane. It's very cool that Paul played that Mellotron intro & sabotaged song etc. - well done, Paul!

B.E., you said Paul will get chance later during early Survivor games. So...when is that chance? When do you vote for Paul song?

Well, Paul's having his chance. He won Revolver and I voted for it. He could still win Magical Mystery Tour. Actually, I was disappointed that Your Mother Should Know and Baby You're A Rich Man were voted off so quickly. The White Album is a toss up. I don't know what to expect. Both Paul and John wrote fan favorites. Paul should also have a chance to win the late-period singles with Hey Jude. He'll clean up on the Let It Be album. Across the Universe is the only non-Paul song that even has a chance to make it to the final round. As for me? it's obvious I prefer John's songwriting, but I think John's songs were more team efforts. And that's what I love most..The Beatles. John let the rest of the guys shine on his songs. You can say John was lazier or less talented than Paul, but it was for the best! It might be Paul's fault (his great contributions) as much as anything that I vote for so many John songs!

Btw, Penny Lane is my 2nd favorite song on MMT. And, yes, I like the lyrics of SFF more.

I DO like Penny Lane. Just like SFF more.
As for lyrics, we'll have to disagree on that. Depends on the type of song. For certain types of songs lyrics are vitally important (in my opinion).
However the reason I prefer SFF is the music. I like how it builds up with each verse. I really like the outro.
And I absolutely love cranberry sauce! 
If it's any comfort to you, I like a lot more of the "Paul" songs on the White album as opposed to the "John" ones.
