The Old Man Down at the Beacon: John Fogerty Announces Special 80th Birthday Concert in New York City
Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty turns the big 8-0 on May 28, and he’s planning to celebrate his milestone birthday with a special concert. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will perform that evening at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

EDIT:

John Fogerty does a Taylor Swift and remakes his Creedence Clearwater Revival classics
To celebrate owning his songs again, Fogerty is releasing "John's Version" recordings – listen to the first three now

John Fogerty Is Re-Recording Creedence Classics. We Asked Him Why
On Legacy, the 80-year-old rocker re-creates songs like "Proud Mary" and "Bad Moon Rising," note for note: “I wanted to call it Taylor’s Version"

Say what you will, but I think it's obvious that at least parts of the original CCR lead vocals have been used on the three songs that we can listen to. Sounds like he overdubbed new vocals onto the original. Was that the idea?  Huh

Maybe some AI used? "Have you ever seen the rain" sounds like the original with some new parts punched-in. I wonder if they used AI because his voice on the "new" parts sounds almost exactly like the original. And since it seems like he lost quite a bit lot of edge in his voice during the last decade - as we can hear on live recordings - I can't believe that this is how he sounds without any post-production-work done.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
