https://www.thebeachboys.com/store/good-vibrations-illustrated-litho

I was browsing the Beach Boys site and found this in the online store.  I can't enlarge it so can't tell for sure, but it appears that the only recognizable band member is Mike, who appears four times and is clearly recognizable.  Nice.

Open it in a new window and it will be bigger.
Or look at this:

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Looks like something that'd be mildly passable on deviantart.

These posters were being sold at the M&B shows this summer. It was a hard pass for me. The lack of quality Beach Boys merch at the past two M&B shows I attended was ridiculous.

I love that they wrote "excitations" on it.

More goofy self idolatry from myKe luHv banking on casual fans thinking he alone wrote the song plus the tacky poster looks like it fell in the toilet.  Roll Eyes

Why in blue hell is Mike on this poster, four times? Seriously, and in three of those times, he's depicted in his mid-70s "I'm a rock and roll frontman"-phase. It's Brian's composition, and he deserves to be on this poster, definitely more than Mike. And anyways, isn't this a Beach Boys song, not a Mike Love solo record? Then can you justify why the remaining members of The Beach Boys aren't on this poster as well?

Exactly, it's the history rewrite in art form.

That could have been really cool if all the Beach Boys were featured on it.

Wow. The Mike Love history revision train is in full effect. Where's Brian and the other Boys?

How about a Pet Sounds poster with JUST Tony Asher on it?

This GV poster looks like something that a stoner kid in high school scribbled on their notebook.

I saw this at the Kennedy Center in July and thought it was absurd. I didn't see a single soul buy one.

Good Vibrations came out in 1966, hippies and peace symbols came later.  I don't like the association.

Right.  Everyone ALWAYS associates the Haight/Ashbury scene with the Beach Boys.  San Francisco is their home town, right?!
