You've probably seen this guy. His one-man cover a few years ago of "Bohemian Rhapsody" went viral. He's also done the Jackson 5's "ABC" and the closing medley from
Abbey Road
, and is currently the bass player for Blue Oyster Cult. Here he gives does his best to faithfully re-create the studio recording of "I Get Around":

There's also a
video of the whole recording (and mixing) process
, which was done in a live-streamed session for the Band Geek
podcast
.
(Nitpick:
Castellano
isn't the bass player for BOC anymore, since he moved to keyboards/guitar a few years ago.)

Didn't know one man recording was a big enough thing to post video of. Guess I'll have to start videotaping some of the sessions at Karma Frog.
Very cool though. "I Get Around" is one of the most difficult BBs songs.

Pretty cool!
I miss the low organ line in the verses but I just sing it myself and then everything's fine.
Kudos, Richie. :=)

He plays keys and guitar with BOC at least when I've seen them, not bass. Super talented guy who brings a lot to the table. Helps make their shows vital, as opposed to a classic rock dinosaur slog.
