Yes, it's part of Mike's tour merchandise.

BRI and the real, full group collectively should have (and should be continually) putting out high quality "coffee table" books, rather that stuff like this that's overpriced, sold to a limited audience, and the content of which is vague.

Imagine a BRI-sanctioned "Smile" coffee table book to accompany the "Smile Sessions" set, a PS book and so on.

Big coffee table books, sometimes with some degree of promotional fluff, are really trendy right now. Many new release movies are accompanied by such books.

The Beach Boys could easily piece together a few nice books, charge on the high end of normal retail prices for such books ($40-$50).

Gumroad appears, and granted this is after reading about it for about five minutes, to be a sort of eBay/Etsy sort of place where people can sell their own stuff direct. I'm sure those analogies are not precise.

It's a legit company as far as I can tell, but it's basically like eBay, just kind of a channel or broker between the buyer and the seller.

I do think the whole website and presentation is almost *too* barebones. No mention of who is the actual publisher/seller, and I usually get a bit nervous when I click to buy and I get a one-screen pop up that, when filled out, immediately *completes* the transaction. No interstitial pages where you can confirm your order prior to completing it, etc.
