July 5 and 6 1963 the BBs apparently played in Phoenix, AZ (these dates are listed in a diary kept by the Marks family, but there is no evidence in Phoenix newspapers).  July 5 1964 the BBs appeared at Bloch Arena, Pearl Harbor and at Schofield Barracks in Honolulu with Bruce and Terry, Jan and Dean, The Kingsmen, Freddy Cannon, Jimmy Griffin, The Rivingtons, Ray Peterson, Jody Miller, Jimmy Clanton and Peter and Gordon.  Bruce and Terry were of course Bruce Johnston and Terry Melcher. The BBs than began the Summer Safari tour-hitting the University of Arizona, Tucson on July 6 1964, the Civic Auditorium in Albuquerque, NM on July 7, Amarillo, Texas on July 8 and Springlake Amusement Park in Oklahoma City on July 9 1964. The following year (now with Bruce in place of Brian) they were at Canobie Lake Park, in Salem NH on July 6 1965, Hampton Beach Casino on July 7 1965, the Municipal Auditorium in Bangor, Maine on July 8 1965 and the Portland Exposition Center in Portland, ME with the Marvels and Headlighters on July 9 1965. In July 1967 the BBs were in California working on Smiley Smile. On July 5 they worked on She’s Going Bald, while on July 6 1967 they recorded an Unreleased Instrumental.  July 1968 the BBs were again on tour with Gary Puckett and the Uion Gap and the Human Beinz.  They played at the Chicago Auditorium Theater on July 5, Anderson HS Gym, in Anderson, IN on July 6, the Duluth Arena on July 7, the Fargo Civic Auditorium in Fargo, ND on July 8 and the Auditorium Theater in St Paul on July 9 1968.  They taped many of these shows, though more to listen to and critique than with any thought of releasing them. July 9 1969 the BBs worked on Dennis’s Sunflower opener “Slip on Through.” The following July they were still finishing Sunflower.  On July 7 1970 work was done on Cool, Cool Water and the next two days were spent mixing tracks.
July 7 and 8 1971 the BBs worked on “It’s a New Day.” July 9 1974 the BBs played the Seattle Coliseum with CSNY.  July 6 1975 the BBs played with Chicago at Hughes Stadium in Colorado State U, Fort Collins. Elton John made a guest appearance during the BBs set. July 1976 Carl was busy producing Ricci Martin, while Dennis worked on Pacific Ocean Blue.  On July 5 Carl and Ricci worked on “Streets of Love” and “Moonbeams” July 7 1976 Dennis added strings to Rainbows, River Song and Thoughts of You.  July 9 1976 Carl and Ricci recorded
“Everyone Knows My Name” and “Precious Love.” July 9 1977 according to paperwork I have Dennis was supposed to start a radio and media promotional tour for Pacific Ocean Blue in Europe but it looks like the whole thing was cancelled.  July 5 1978 Dennis added flutes and horns to the Bambu track “Companion.” July 1979 the BBs were on tour without Dennis (who’d been told to get straight after an altercation with Mike). They played at Pine Knob in Clarkston MI from July 4 to 7.  The Lakeland Ledger reported that on one of the nights Dennis was spotted at Dodgers Stadium at a Bee Gees Concert.  July 8 1979 the BBs played at St John’s Hollow, Tiffin, OH. A photo shows Brian resplendent in a Blue track suit and T shirt) They played two nights at Blossom Music Center, near Cleveland, OH on July 9 and 10. One of these shows was partially filmed for a piece on PM Magazine TV show aired on Oct 25, 1979.  July 5 1980 the day after their big televised 4th of July show, the BBs played the Nassau Coliseum.  On July 7 1980 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, in Los Angeles-Carl played a solo show for the Movement of Inner Spiritual Awareness that he was involved with. The following July 1981-Carl was touring solo as an opener for the Doobie Brothers.  They concluded a run at Pine Knob on July 5 and than played the Convention Center, Myrtle Beach, SC on July 7.  Carl and the Doobies were at the Virginia Beach Pavilion on July 8 and the South Mountain Music Fair, West Orange, NJ on July 9 1981.  Meanwhile the BBs started a run at Caesar’s in Tahoe on July 9 1981 without Carl.  But he was back in 1982 for shows at Winnipeg Arena, Winnipeg on July 5 1982, the Agridome in Regina on July 6, the Northlands Coliseum, in Edmonton on July 7, the Sportsplex in Lethbridge, Alberta on July 8 and Boise State University on July 9 1982. The BBs remained in Duluth through July 9 1984 to play a charity softball game that night against Three Dog Night. Brian was in London at Red Bus Studios to work on the Beach Boys album with Steve Levine.  He was filmed and interviewed for a British TV show called Ear Say while there and is seen singing “I’m So Lonely.” July 6-8 1985 the BBs were at the War Memorial Stadium, Buffalo, NY and at Pine Knob in Clarkston, MI before starting rehearsals for Live Aid. This seems like could be standard for any band to polish their singing & playing to be better next show. Nobody outside the devoted fans would (will) buy this stuff anyway.

At any rate, thanks for these threads, Mr. Rusten. I'm glad they're back.

Lime is food? Yep.

Mandarin and Clementine went to meet the entire citrus gang, nobody ate people.

True enough though some of those 1968 live recordings engineered by Stephen desper have been appearing on archival releases lately
