chronicles???

has anyone seen this item? I did a quick search here and did not see a thread on it, if i missed it i'm sorry. if anyone has seen this, any opinions? is it more than what is out on various specials? i have never seen this dvd before. i have a few amazon gift cards I wanna use and this caught my eye for some reason.  messed up my back in a fall outside in june and haven't been  here much since then.

I could be wrong, but this looks like a boot to me.  Sometimes they sneak on Amazon as "imports."

Now, isn't this the package that came out twice quite quickly, first time with little or no accompanying written info, second time with notes by our own AGD? I maybe wrong…

There was/is a Beach Boys "Videobiography" available on DVD, which was packaged as a hardbound book with a version of AGD's "ComGuide." But that was done legitimately I believe, and the documentary was legit too. It was one of those talking head docs full of people you've never heard of, interspersed with a sprinkling of actual BB footage, the use of which is justified because it's a "critical review."



The thing listed in the top post of this thread is definitely not legit or official. It's a boot, and probably looks like it too.

Indeed legit. I was asked to do it and got paid. For them as is completists, not a redacted version of the ComGuide, but all newly (re)written and mostly expanded. And no, I'd never heard of any of the talking heads either.
