Here's a list of some songs I put on a CD for a recent a car trip.

I tried to keep it only to Beach Boys voices.  I added a few other things (Don't Fight the Sea, Postcard From California, Runaway Dancer, Saturday Night, Baby Mine, Love and Mercy) but these are the Brian/Beach Boys/Joe Thomas songs.  I tend to think that, although there are some production choices one might change, the collaboration has certainly been more than worthwhile and has led to some excellent recorded output. Maybe it could be called, "The Beach Boys - The Joe Thomas Years".  Anyone fancy designing a cover or coming up with another name?

Your Imagination
South American
Dream Angel
Lay Down Burden
Think About the Days
Isn't it Time
Strange World
From There To Back Again
Summer's Gone
Pacific Coast Highway (I like the idea of the last line being the last part of 'The Suite'. I also prefer it to Summer's Gone)
This Beautiful Day
Whatever Happened
The Right Time
Tell Me Why
Sail Away
One Kind of Love
The Last Song

Thoughts?

The Beach Boys - The Joe Thomas Years could include the material from Stars and Stripes Vol 1, too. Caroline, No would be my choice from that set, maybe with Warmth of the Sun.

I forgot about that one John.  That was the first time they went down to Nashville to collaborate I believe.

"Mulling Over The Mullet Years" has a nice ring to it.  Cheesy
