This is a bizarre question to ask, I know. I have my reasons. Can anyone think of one?

Barbara Eden was in the movie "Ride The Wild Surf". Brian co-wrote the title song with Jan Berry and Roger Christian.

I Dream of Jeannie was made by the TV arm of Columbia Pictures, and the movie that freaked Brian out, Seconds, was released by Columbia Pictures.

Barbara Eden starred on I Dream of Jeannie with Larry Hagman. Larry Hagman starred on Dallas with Patrick Duffy. And Patrick Duffy was in the Beach Boys 25th Anniversary special for some reason.

Bobby Hart (and Tommy Boyce) appeared on I Dream of Jeannie. Apparently Bruce asked Bobby to produce the band in early 1968.

"I Dream of Genie" was produced by the Screen Gems wing of Columbia Pictures.
In 1963, much to Murry's chagrin, Brian signed a songwriting/production deal with Al Nevins and Don Kirshner's Aldon Music (Lou Adler was head of the west coast office of Aldon).
Shortly thereafter, Aldon was sold to Columbia/Screen Gems.

Is this like the Kevin Bacon- separation thing? The Beach Boys and Barbara eat bacon....probably.

she wasn't allowed to show her Belly Button... The Beach Boys and Belly Button both can be shortened as "BB's" in shorthand.

Mike Love still hasn't listened to Barbara's latest single either?

Barbara's single shown above was produced by "Randy Wood" -- which happens to be the alias Dennis used when checking into hotels...

Barbara has the same name as a certain DW composition. Barbara appeared in an episode of I Love Lucy, which starred the father of one of the members of a band that opened up for The Beach Boys.
