M.I.
A.
? You must either think of MIU, MIC, or it's me having a brain blockade.
MIA is an familiar English acronym for Missing In Action.

AG/DG's site is indispensable....
Track listing is there for the original "Highway To H.E.L.P On The Way" album as well as "Back In Tommy Bahama".

Yes, it was a fine summary that made a decent case for The Beach Boys as a valid artistic entity throughout the 70's. Generously selected with rarities, classy graphics, lyrics, album credits, the whole nine yards. Deserved better than #156 but The Beach Boys weren't selling many albums in the early 80's. I got my copy as a record club cutout for a very cheap price in Dec 1983. This comp did much to enhance my appreciation of the band.
+1.
My first exposure to their 1970s material was "Ten Years Of Harmony." Was the only '70s BB stuff I could find at the time (1985-ish). Loved most everything on it, which prompted me to spend the next few years haunting local record stores in search of copies -in any condition- of everything from "Sunflower" to "LA (Light Album)"... gawd, I was a weird 18-year-old.
Also was my introduction to Dennis' solo work, as "River Song" was included. (Funny aside, a month after I'd finally tracked down a copy of "Holland" on vinyl in 1990, thus completing my 1970s BB collection, the 1990 reissues on cassette and CD appeared...
you know, their entire catalog from 1962-1980.
I was delighted to see these, but had I known they were coming I could've
saved a small fortune and a lot of running around.
Oh well.
