Okay, I have like an hour and a half before i have to get to bed for work tomorrow, bored up the wazoo, and may have done something or another *ahem*, and so I decided to turn on the Food Network. Who do I see? Lo and behold, it's Carnie Wilson competing on the Food Network show 'Chopped'. It aired two nights ago and is a re-airing. It's a celebrity edition and also features Michael Imperoli and Brandi Chastain. Apparently Carnie made a 'curly beef tostada with vanilla and dragonfruit sauce'. Quite. At this point, it must be pointed out that it is the tostada itself that is curly rather than the beef, as that would be most odd...

In any case...am I the only one who'd think it'd kick ass if Brian had a Food Network segment (not show)? 'And here's a deep fried birthday cake in a Heineken reduction...'

I saw her on some show, not sure if it was Chopped, but she was going against

1. Coolio (he lost because he cheated)
2. Penn Gillette (he lost because he didn't give a sh*t.  Like usual)
3. Lou Diamond Phillips (He lost because he kept forgetting the rules)

Carnie won.  She was actually a pretty impressive chef, all the stuff she did looked really, really good and it was one of those shows where they give you a bunch of weird ingredients that you have to use.

Yup...that was it. They're doing a tournament.... she lost this week and cried. She did seem like she knew what she was doing.

Just saw her on "Wife Swap" earlier this week. She swapped with Tracey Gold (from "Growing Pains"). It was actually quite entertaining. Seems Rob doesn't want to come out of the studio and join the family.

Not saying that Rob is just like Brian, but it's funny how women often marry guys much like their dad.

Wow. When Carnie sees food she has a crazed look in her eyes. The same one that Mike has when he sees a cheerleader.

Brian's had moments like that too. Actually I've noticed that as time goes on the Brian in her becomes more apparent.
