Keith Richards out of his tree again

 Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has been taken to hospital in New Zealand after injuring himself while on holiday in Fiji.

A band spokeswoman said Richards had suffered a "mild concussion" and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Media reports in Australia and New Zealand said Richards had hurt his head when he fell out of a palm tree.

The legendary musician is mid-way through a world tour with the famous British band.

The band most recently played in New Zealand and start the European leg of their tour in Barcelona next month.

"Following treatment locally and as a precautionary measure he flew to a hospital accompanied by his wife Patti for observation," the spokeswoman said.

The incident happened earlier this week but the star was taken to hospital on Saturday.

The spokeswoman said she did not know how the injury happened.

No further details on the 62-year-old rock star's condition were immediately available.

They said he fell out of a coconut tree and then went out on a jet ski.  Sounds like a drunken college boy in Cancun.

How does one fall out of a coconut tree?  Or perhaps a better question, how does one get up in a coconut tree and why?

I have an image of a cartoon coconut tree on a little island with a monkey who looks like Keith Richards perched on top throwing coconuts at passers by.

Who needs that?  Keith is the epitome of rock 'n roll and I dont think that growing old gracefully would fit him one bit.  In all honesty, I'm not so sure that the guy is ever going to die.  In the end, I think we will have cockroaches, Keith Richards, and maybe and most unfortunately, Cher but only becuae she is no longer a real person.  Just a heap of plastic.

Summary:  Keith Richards is still the man even in his mid 60's!!  God bless him!  May he live to climb coconut trees forever!
