From the beginning- surfin safari their debut, surfin usa classic album that begat their success, surfer girl-classic, lil deuce coupe 2/3 new album and 4 from the prior 3, shut down vol2 nother classic but not properly promoted when first released, all summer long- often regarded as their first masterpiece album, today- often regarded as the pre-cursor to pet sounds, summer days their last 'fun in the sun' type album, pet sounds- their ultimate masterpiece and the greatest album in recorded history, smiley smile the album that took smile's place, wild honey their last great album of the 60s, friends -although a good album but not the best, 20/20 wasnt a proper album but a leftovers collection, sunflower was the last BBs album that had brians lead vox befre his voice got f***ed up and had a steller production, surfs up has its moments but til i die was one of brians top tunes for sure, holland Ive seen get mixed reviews and is often regarded as their last real album with a group effort...                                                  AFTER HOLLAND- from dec.72 to june of 76 the beach boys had a 3 1/2 year gap between studio albums and in that time their success skyrocketed but mike love took creative cntrol/ 15 big ones was good but a whole album in terms of material, mostly remakes but I like it. Love you was brians album with the beach boys name on it, wouldnt everbuddy agree? The miu album had songs from older sessions and the rest were re-worked versions of the orig intended xmas tunes... the light album and keepin the summer alivehave theirmoments but as a whole were pretty weak, same goesfor the 1985 album....

Learn to punctuate, spell properly and cultivate at least a basic grasp of English grammar and I'll start paying attention to your posts. Until then, I won't bother: as this post stands, it is essentially unreadable.

Point of this forum is to communicate and exchange ideas. To do that, helps if you post coherently and, above all, legibly. That's just a mess. We've got people here from, say, Russia with better English skills than that.

Thread is perfectly readable, except for the original post. I thought from the title that it might be an interesting topic for discussion. Still do, but as the original post is apparently written by grammatically-challenged spiders on acid, I guess I'll never know.

And no - I'm just being an arse: got to maintain the perceived image.  Grin

Grammatically Challenged Spiders On Acid would be an awesome name for a group.  LOL
