There's one behind Al as he talks about California Girls becoming their opening number for the rest of the band's career during the Endless Harmony documentary @ ~ 35 minute mark.

The late Derek Bill had one for sale back in 1978, or 1979. He was asking $550, so - if you could find one today (and I've never seen another for sale in the intervening 45-odd years) - the price would be a helluva lot higher.

I have a friend who was a WB rep( might still be) who has one. Don't think he wants to sell it, tho.

ok.... here's the 'dumb' question because "I guess I'm"....... (see what I did there?)

Can you get them made up using the Beach Boys 70's band logo design? (15 big ones).....

or is that a copyright trademark thing, where they would not allowed to reproduce?

being a one off item, would they be so bothered?......

it's a dream item .... that looks like it'll be staying as one...

If I remember correctly, it was either Derek's or somebody else that had a neon sign depicting the Beach Boys logo ("The Beach Boys") designed by Dean Torrence in 1976. Can't remember if it also had "15 Big Ones" attached to it, but for sure it was just the Beach Boys logo, circa 1976.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

From memory, that's the one my friend has; he was a rep at that time!

There was one on Ebay at Christmas as I was searching for "Beach Boys signed".

I've had a quick look and it's now gone but I'll have a search for sold items

EDIT: This is it from the 'Surfin' USA Tour'

That eBay thing is extremely bogus. I'll not list the things wrong with the description as all here will spot them instantly, but if anyone paid good money for that thinking it's a genuine piece of BB memorabilia, they've been ripped. The only connection is that it says "Beach Boys" on it.

*holds up hands*

OK, my fault, that last link wasn't the one I was thinking of (it fininshed in 2011)
This is the one I was thinking of:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THE-BEACH-BOYS-CALIFORNIA-GIRLS-SLOT-MACHINE-TOPPER-CASINO-DISPLAY-SIGN-WORKING-/221337846107?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3388c3815b&nma=true&si=ooROLoLMTzzkc9wrf5HJxm9Feh4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

This one sat on top of a slot machine that must have been based in a casino the guys were playing at.
