He said it to pumpkinhead on his Christmas call.

Right. Get your facts straight before spouting off, Bgas.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Wrong source, my bad. Still, I didn't read about any "bragging". Just his plans for dinner...

>>Then I asked him what he was doing tonight, he said he was having a catered dinner with 50 people with great food including pumpkin pie. I asked who's gonna be there, and he said friends and family<<

I sense he likes Pumpkin pie ( FOOD!!) and he was sharing it with family and friends.  A normal conversation. not alot of bragging there....

I put the word "bragging" in quotes as I was replying to AGD's post where he said Melinda was bragging. A little bit of sarcasm (which you can relate to, I'm sure).

I brought it up and maybe I shouldn't. I just wondered if it was Mike comparing and contrasting his Xmas meal with Brian's. Maybe Brian wanted it catered, anyways. He loves his restaurant food.

... and yes, I know it's Christmas, but hasn't this place been a whole lot more pleasant of late ?  group hug

C'mon Andrew, you should've guessed that Christmas would get Mikie and Bgas all festively steamed up!  LOL

Bgas always likes to retort with a snort.  That's how he is.  He wouldn't recognize irony if it bit him in the Bgas.  Cheesy

I subscribe to all the guys' Facebook pages, and noticed Mike was bragging that his wife cooked their Christmas meal herself. I wonder if he read somewhere that Melinda Wilson had her Christmas meal catered?

Melinda had 50+ guests.  I'd have it catered too.
Exactly, hinting at Melinda's cooking inability is ridiculous. If you like Brian, you cannot say anything bad, albeit as a slight irony, about his wife out of respect, right? Think I'll never get what it's all about the "wifeandmanagers" term some folks use here towards Mrs. Wilson. The woman voluntarily married to the old guy who needs lots of care & is very insecure by nature.

Lime is food? Yep.

Mandarin and Clementine went to meet the entire citrus gang, nobody ate people.

Definitely. If you're gonna marry Brian, you better know how to cook.
