Nice going!  About to crack open the first of the christmas beers while holidaying in Brisbane.

Merry Christmas and best wishes to all posters here, this board is such a treat: especially to the Legendary AGD for sharing his knowledge (and patience  LOL), Mark L and Alan B for their big year, Stephen Desper and Will C for the christmas goodies they've been giving us through out the year!

Jingle bells everybody… a fine year gone, another just around the corner, what with a new Brian album (or three) on the way, Pet Sounds on Blu-Ray audio, a slew of BBs albums on vinyl and SACD, an archival Carl release coming, BWs cinematic epic in the pipeline and, I'm sure, more surprises to be pulled out if the bag.

Our band might not be talking much (though I bet the family ties brigg them closer again today) but things here on Slimey Slim are festively fun.

Have a marvellous Christmas all, I couldn't think of a nicer bunch of Beach Boys nuts/obsessives/geeks/addicts to raise a glass to.

In the spirit of the season, I have had one glass of malt and a mince pie, while poor Steph has chowed down a raw carrot: the detritus is in the fireplace for the kids to find in the morning along with a pile of swag.

the professor is on a road tripnorth of morro bay, playing postcard from California and made in California the whole way, watching the Sun the waves, feeling the music and understanding what it's all about all over again. The Professor sends his Christmas wishes to all his dear friends here for their  knowledge, sense of history, friendship, and for their celebration ofthe spiritual awareness that the Beach Boys have provided for all of us . iit would not really be me unless I added that I continue to hope for another album and more showswith all the surviving members of the greatest group in popular music history.
