Man, the rest of the European tour has been cancelled
I'm glad I already saw Neil and the Horse once this year already but it's pretty bummed me out to say the least. I hope it's nothing too serious.

Frank Sampedro broke his hand with only 7 shows left. Bad timing for you, unfortunately.

That's a real shame. Well I can still be glad I saw them on this phenomenal tour once already, beats moaning about it at least.

That 1974 CSNY tour was rough for Neil as well since the other members "used" his material.
Getting blown off the stage by The Beach Boys every damn night probably didn't help either

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Though, I'd be willing to bet Neil got some perverse delight out of watching Stills n Crosby getting their asses handed to them.... Nash probably wasn't offended.

There is a vast range of material with Neil. I would suggest picking up Weld and Harvest Moon together just to get started on the process of discovering the many sides of this versatile character. Then branch out from there.

Or weld and dreaming man. I prefer those wonderful solo performances of the harvest moon songs.

A new Neil Young listener cannot go wrong with DECADE. It made me a fan for life when I was 16. It will do the same for you.
Great self-written liner notes, and a superb gateway into any album (solo, Buffalo Springfield, Crazy Horse, CSNY) Neil was involved with 1966-76, except TIME FADES AWAY, which he ignored.
