"Love now tours with a substitute band."

"Surrogate band", perhaps?

Forget last year's "feud" that never was.  The real feud was the July 3, 1977 conflict in Newark on the airport tarmac. That was probably #1, even over the 1979 Universal Ampitheatre Mike/Dennis verbal confrontation/foot race around the stage.

I'm kind of surprised some of Van Halen's mess didn't make it onto this list.

It's the word "now" that I object to… would have been better if the writer had adopted Mike's line and said, "Love has toured with a substitute band, whose occasionally shifting line-up includes Beach Boys stalwart Bruce Johnston, for 15 years."

"Now" implies to me that the writer thinks this has only been going on since the end of C50 touring.

As for Stamford Bridge, it's hardly trivia. It led to the weakening of Harold's army, the successful invasion by the French, the carve up of the British landscape into private ownership and, ultimately, the decision to invent America and the creation of the Beach Boys.

In the 11th century Normandy was a separate country. It was not part of France. We were not, nor have we ever been, not ever will be, successfully invaded by the French.

I stand corrected.

Happy Yorkshire Day, by the way!

I'm surprised CCR didn't make the list. Those guys have been sworn enemies for years.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.
