I hope so.  And, why not? It promotes Dennis' work.

Y'all are jealous!  LOL

He and "The Rippers" also did "The Boys Are Back In Town" so maybe that will be the choice... Smiley

If they really wanted to shake it up, they'd cover "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette, which according to urban legend was her "F-You" message to co-star and part-time Ripper Dave Coulier, aka "Uncle Joey".

Coulier confirmed it and Morissette never denied it, so I guess it's more than just an urban legend.

Keepin' Dennis' work and memory alive!

Good for him. I like Stamos.

Bring it on.  LOL

It seems that the Rippers feature Richie Cannata and Gary Griffin!

When I was a kid in the early 90s I almost bought SIP when it came out thanks to their appearance on Full House. Having never heard it or seen it for sale since, I kind of regret it now! At the time I loved the Beach Boys hits and Kokomo so I considered them my favourite band... but it wasn't enough to sway me to want to buy the CD.

Anyway, what was fan reaction like when Forever kept popping up in the show? I know everyone's embarrassed about John Stamos and all that but it's actually pretty cool that they gave an overlooked early-70s Dennis song some exposure. I mean,  I had no idea it was an actual Beach Boys song until I got Sunflower many years later.

I didn't know Forever went to Number 1 in Japan.

Could that have been in the context of Full House, tho -- going to no. 1 in a fictional TV series, rather than in real life?

The BB's version is always a number 1 in my book. Love Go, Denny!

That is what Jimmy announced the other night, that it went to #1 in Japan. Must have been the Full House version.  Any time the BB's music is promoted is all 1000% great in my book.

Yeah - Go Denny (and Carl's version as well)  Love

Sandbox please.

This is pretty relevant to The Beach Boys.

Just a (stupid) FYI: the whole #1 in Japan thing was only on the show.  Jesse & The Rippers' version of Forever went to #1 in Japan, so they toured over there, and they even performed Help Me Rhonda in Japanese.

If anybody wants to know any more useless Full House trivia, please don't hesitate to ask.  Smiley
