Brilliant! I've sent this to so many people today. The exposure extends beyond Reddit too, there's been a 40% jump in people reading the Beach Boys article on Wikipedia since this video went viral.

Glad to see some enjoyment here., made me cry laughing, was sad to see many BB fans on the comments taking it as a a personal insult and calling it disrespectful.

Not that funny as I thought after reading all these comments, but artificial Mike is quite entertaining. And the guitars are actually very good (beautiful even), sth. from folklore in them.
As for the comments, well, there are already ones on YT about Dennis's masterful hand-clapping, so it's boring again see these "jokes" on reddit. Nevertheless, I liked when someone misheard the "I'm a real cool head" line as "I'm a local hit".

Sorry RRover but your comment is that funniest I've read so far    Somebody didn't mishear "I'm a real cool head"  because that's not what fauxBri is singing,  it's just random stuff, like "go downtown" and mostly mumbling. 

I can't believe that people get offended by this or fail to see it as a joke.  The Kiss one is great, as is The Rolling Stones one.

Not "'nuff said". What is bad about scrutinizing, I wonder. To me, it's a fun thing to do. Plus, I did find some of that video funny, if you noticed. So don't remind me of "it was a funny video". Speak for yourself & deal with the fact that other people might have not liked it. No need to defend some random Inet stuff. Now, 'nuff said indeed.

I agree, couldn't have said it better RRover, nothing wrong with scrutanising,  it's done to death on this board over every conceivable angle of the Beach Boys and I'm sure you've been involved in some of that awesome man, or maybe you're above it all? hmm hmm?
