Hey there, I've been asked to quickly produce a few tracks for a surf documentary, here one of those:

it really sounds like classic surf/Beach Boys clichés but I like it  LOL

Well thanks a lot for your kind words ! Yes it's been very pleasant and honoring to do stuff like that, unfortunately, I had no time, a very low budget, and I was very ill at the time ...

Here's another one, just in case: http://soundcloud.com/jmzmusic/jmz-surfer-ghost

Frankly speaking, I was completely sure that I didn't comment on this thread. I generally forgot about existence of the poster with such nick. Just today someone asked in another thread about your Smile mix, so I checked your account & found this topic. Only to find out that I already posted here. And I thought that I have excellent memory in recalling everybody & everything. Well-well.
Anyway, your 2nd work is quite an ambitious stuff. I like its dark melody which has still some slight hints of kindness - nifty combination of timpani, very distinct electric guitar, piano + rhythm guitar, mellow orchestra at the background at the 2nd round & onwards, muted 12-string guitar, bass & tambourine. Even the fact that it's quite repetitive doesn't make it lesser. Many surf instrumentals are rondo-structured, with a little addition of guitar jingling-jangling here & there. So well done job again, JMZ!

Lime is food? Yep.

Mandarin and Clementine went to meet the entire citrus gang, nobody ate people.
