Some decent performances from Carl, Al, Mike, and Bruce but nothing that special though Al turns in a particularly awesome vocal on "Help Me, Rhonda."

Cool footage, thank you Rocky Raccoon! I only knew the '86 footage and there are horrible because of Al's voice problem. This proofs how great Bobby Figueroa a drummer is.

wow those performances sucked very hard. Farm Aid for the midwest? hue? Disgusting 80's clothing, the drummer (mike kowalski?) is utterly clueless and injecting the songs with endless and pointless cymbal bashing??? Myke being the dork as always.
Only thing good is (as always was) Carl's voice. Compare this sound to 1980 at Knebworth when they were still a rocking band. Compared to that this farm aid thing is hopeless. Often I wish they give it up after Dennis death. Instead you get USA nr 1 band featuring nasal mike and short-shorts retro boy Bruce. Man was any cool sucked out of the band by this time.

Does anyone know in which order the songs were played?  My guess would be the same as Live Aid but with "Barbara Ann" in place of "Wouldn't It Be Nice".

Nice footage. Too bad about those 80s drum pads the percussionist is using.

That's certainly the best version of that concert I've ever seen, and for good reason - it's the master! Certainly looks better than the myriad of high generation VHS copies that float around.

I think the really interesting thing about this footage is how terribly the sound is mixed. Mike's bass vocals are oftenway too loud for instance. What's also really cool is that Mike Meros is the most prominent instrumentalist in Good Vibrations. He definitely had a lot of work to do on that one.

Sorry.  I inadvertantly posted that comment on the wrong topic. Now I can't remember what I was responding to.
