Carnie/Brian vocals in background on a FB video

It's a video of a golden retriever gently playing with a young boy. The audio is Carnie Wilson's version of "You Are So Beautiful", mentioned here on this board

I hadn't heard this before, and am glad to see it's just a $.99 download to add to my collection. Here's my question. The end of the video lists the writers of the song as Billy Preston & Dennis. I had heard that Dennis was a rumored co-writer; is that correct? Wikipedia, which is obviously the final authority on any topic  ( ) agrees, but are there any secondary, if not as reliable, confirmations?

Billy Hinsche says Dennis was a co-writer, and that Hinsche was there when it was written. Billy Preston always denied it.
