Just as a PSA, the following AFM sheets included in the BB section of the Wrecking Crew movie website are NOT Beach Boys sessions:

#96891, 5/20/64 - Hot Rod USA/Summer Means Fun/The Queen/I Get Around/Run Little Rabbit/Boss Barracuda, recorded at RCA Studio. The BB never recorded five of those six titles (in italics). The songs are from the Catalinas Fun Fun Fun album, produced by Terry Melcher and released September 1964. Bruce Johnston is on these tracks.

#94495, 7/23/64 - Hot Rod High/Hot Rod USA/Skippin' School/I Get Around/School Days/Be True To Your School, recorded at Capitol Studio. Again, the BB never recorded four of those titles. This was a Knights session for the Hot Rod High album, produced by Gary Usher and released October 1964.

#96724, 7/10/64 - Don't Worry, Baby/In My Room/Fun, Fun, Fun/Wendy/I Get Around/Warmth Of The Sun/She Knows Me Too Well, recorded at Capitol Studio. Granted, this time the BB did record all these titles, but In My Room was released October 1963. This is a session for The Hollyridge Strings Beach Boys Songbook instrumental album, produced by Stu Phillips and released fall 1964.

Just saw this on facebook, this whole myth created ruins the true deeds of the wrecking crew.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Carol wasn't there that day -  she was bass-jumping.
