I'd love to know who all the faces in the clouds and trees are supposed to be.
Looks like Al and definitely Carl in the clouds to the right. What about the face with sunglasses... Spector?
I think the tree on the right is actually Bruce (for some reason) and the tree on the right certainly
looks
like Paul.
who did the cover art anyway? I'm away from my collection.
Cover illustration by David McMacken - perhaps John Manning knows him

Paul is dead?
If you play Maybe I'm Amazed backwards, you'll find a recipe for a ripping lentil soup!

It was only a few days ago that I realised that the clouds in the Friends cover were made up of faces.

I always thought the green face on the right was Donovan, the left one McCartney. A nice album art. I counted the faces once (obviously my life is very exciting) and missed the upside down ones and just goes to show that it's full of surprises.

Wow, never noted that the guy on the right is Donovan. It all comes together for me right now, Mike having just been to India where both Paul and Donovan were! Donovan was the missing link for me in making Paul's appearance logically. Rishikesh, Trancedental Meditation, Friends...

Och aye? Are you labouring under the mistaken impression perhaps that I live in Scotland and that this artist chappie must be a Scot because his surname begins with "Mc"?
Half a decade since I left that country for the calmer, more sober, brighter greens of the Yorkshire Dales…

Well, begins with "Mc" and continues with "mac"...tee hee...
Anyway, apologies for a dumb joke, and, as always, no offense intended - cheers - A
