Glorious, just glorious. Worth it for seeing Brian visibly unwind bar by bar, the ear-to-ear beam at the end and a corking vocal accompaniment.

The guy in the choir at 1.45 isn't Billy Hinsche is it? Dead ringer if not!
edit.
Yes!

Great video, this redeemed the song for me when I saw it a while back.
I wonder if this is where Dennis got the idea for the choir in River Song?

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

Always been one of my favorite songs from the album, along with Back Home. i love this. Too bad they couldn't have used this on the album.
Is this the same take as the 1976 TV special, which I've really only seen once in full, in 1976?
And all right, who's playing piano at the end when the guy gets up and starts singing and clapping?

That's one of my favorite parts of the NBC television special called "It's OK", broadcast in August of 1976.
Double Rock Baptist Choir from Compton, California. Same people that sang all over Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue album - love them on River Song!!
That's Alexander Hamilton on the piano and Billy Hinsche in the choir. Love watching Brian - he seemed totally into it!

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

yeah, I always thought that was weird, and maybe this isn't completely live.
